MAIN Terms of Use
Effective date:
These terms apply to your use of MAIN, the AI assistant for factories made by TogyAI Inc. ("Togy", "we"). MAIN is a business product: your employer, or the company that gave you access (the "customer"), has an agreement with Togy, and you use MAIN under it. By using MAIN, including through Slack, Microsoft Teams or WhatsApp, you accept these terms.
1. Who may use MAIN
People the customer's administrators have given an account. There is no self-service sign-up. You must be at least 18 years old, and you must use MAIN for the customer's work.
2. What MAIN does
MAIN answers questions about the customer's factory from the data the customer connected, from the accounts you connected, and from the web. It can draft and, with your approval, carry out actions such as sending a mail, posting a message or changing a calendar event.
MAIN's answers and proposed actions are suggestions made by an AI model. They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. You decide what to do with an answer, and you approve every action before MAIN carries it out. Check an answer before you rely on it for a decision about safety, production, money or people.
3. What the customer is responsible for
- The accounts it creates, and who it gives them to.
- The data sources it connects, and its right to let MAIN read them.
- Telling its people what MAIN does with their data, as their employer and the controller of that data.
- Keeping its MAIN instance's credentials safe, and telling us if they leak.
4. What you are responsible for
- Keeping your password and your connected accounts to yourself.
- The accounts you connect: you connect only accounts you may use for work, and you may disconnect them at any time.
- The instructions you give MAIN, and the actions you approve. An action you approve is carried out in your name, from your account.
- What you upload. You keep the rights to it, and you confirm you may share it with the customer and with MAIN.
5. What Togy is responsible for
- Running MAIN as agreed with the customer, including its availability and support.
- Protecting the data in MAIN, as described in the MAIN privacy policy and the data processing agreement with the customer.
- Never using the customer's data to train AI models.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use MAIN to break the law or someone else's rights;
- use it to harass, deceive or harm anyone, or to send unsolicited messages;
- connect an account, or upload content, that you have no right to use;
- try to get around MAIN's access controls, approvals or rate limits, or to read data you are not allowed to see;
- probe, scan or overload MAIN, or copy it to build a competing product.
When you use MAIN through Slack, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, Google or Microsoft, those providers' own terms also apply to you.
7. Intellectual property
MAIN, its software and its design belong to Togy and its licensors. The customer's data, what you upload and what MAIN produces for the customer belong to the customer. Togy may use platform health and capacity metrics that identify no person and no customer to run and improve MAIN.
8. Suspension and ending
The customer's administrators can remove your account at any time. We can suspend access that breaks these terms or threatens the security of MAIN, and we tell the customer when we do. When the customer's agreement with Togy ends, its instance and the data in it are returned or deleted as the agreement says.
9. Liability
MAIN is provided to you as part of the customer's agreement, which sets out the warranties and the limits of liability between the customer and Togy. To the extent the law allows, Togy is not liable to you for a loss that follows from an answer or an action of MAIN that you relied on or approved. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. The agreement between the customer and Togy, and the data processing agreement under it, keep their own governing law. Nothing here takes away the protection of mandatory law in the country where you live.
11. Changes to these terms
We update these terms when MAIN or the law changes. We publish the new version on this page and the date at the top shows when it took effect. A change that reduces your rights is announced to the customer before it takes effect.
